MY SERVICES
EMDR
Our brains have a natural way to recover from traumatic memories and events. Stress responses are part of our natural fight, flight, or freeze instincts. When distress from a disturbing event remains, the upsetting images, thoughts, and emotions may create an overwhelming feeling of being back in that moment.

Who can benefit from EMDR therapy?
EMDR therapy helps children and adults of all ages. Therapists use EMDR therapy to address a wide range of challenges:
Anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias
Chronic Illness and medical issues
Depression and bipolar disorders
Dissociative disorders
Eating disorders
Grief and loss
Pain
Performance anxiety
Personality disorders
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other trauma and stress-related issues
Sexual assault
Sleep disturbance
Substance abuse and addiction
Violence and abuse
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
If you feel ready, I invite you to deepen into yourself. I know this can feel overwhelming but being in a guided telehealth setting can facilitate safe exploration within.
I work with youth, teenagers, young adults, adults, and elders.

Contact me for zoom counseling sessions. If you live in the Bellingham area we can schedule a walk and talk session.
YOUTH COUNSELING 8-18
Beginning counseling is entering into a relationship with the goal of a healthy outcome for you! Laughter is healing, and I provide a lot of humor while we work through some of the things that are holding you back from living your best life. Establishing a good relationship with each other is first and foremost. I will support and challenge you to address your concerns and goals, such as relationship difficulties, school/work-life balance, or chronic anxiety or depression.

I have almost 19 years of experience working with youth that have experienced self-harm, suicidal ideations, depression, anxiety, attention issues, behavioral concerns, complex trauma and beyond.

Challenging kiddos are my favorite.
ANGER MANAGEMENT & DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PERPETRATOR COUNSELING
Often times we get stuck in patterns related to our thoughts or behaviors that get in the way of us getting to where we want to go. These patterns can worsen symptoms of anxiety, depression and at times, interfere with our relationships and overarching goals. Through a collaborative approach, I aim at helping you explore your own motivation to take meaningful steps in creating the life you want to live by examining these patterns with you listening to your words and how you feel about what you are saying.

I work with voluntary, and court mandated anger management referrals. I also have several years of experience as a Domestic Violence Perpetrator Treatment Counselor as well.
